Lovers of Today
East Village
Despite the name, Lovers of Today is not overly lovey-dovey. It's an intimate but relaxed cocktail spot in the East Village perfect for getting to know your date. It can get a little more crowded later on Fridays or Saturdays but most other times it's pretty low key.
Drink
Cocktails that don't take themselves too seriously, and specify how they're served (so cocktail newbies, this is a safe space). 5-8pm half price specialty cocktails.
Sit
Lovers of Today is small, but somehow we always manage to snag a seat at the bar or one of the cozy tables that line the walls of the dimly-lit spot. There's also a small alley to hang out in if the weather's nice.
